Kent County Tax Credit Coalition Project
The Kent County Tax Credit Coalition is a collaboration of Heart of West Michigan United Way, Kent County Department of Human Services, Internal Revenue Service and many other partners in the public, private and nonprofit sector committed to helping low income working people in Kent County keep what they have earned and build for their future.

West Michigan Vital Signs: Regional Indicators
West Michigan Strategic Alliance and partners developed of a set of regional indicators that will offer clear, tangible standards by which to measure the sustainability and quality of life in the West Michigan region.
These 15 indicators, based on Elements of Sustainable Quality of Life, are a tool to measure what our region looks like and report on how things are changing.
The initial focus of data gathering for this project will be the four counties of Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon and Allegan.
We plan to incorporate data from Ionia, Barry and Newaygo counties in the future.

Kent County Shared Community Indicators
In 2002, The Delta Strategy and Heart of West Michigan United Way collaborated to develop shared community indicators.
The two organizations facilitated an in-depth process in which over 15 lead organizations and representatives from another 50 organizations participated to identify a set of shared community indicators.
Since then the CRI has continued to partner with Delta to provide a yearly update regarding these community indicators.

The Grand Rapids Juvenile Offense Index Report
The Grand Rapids Juvenile Offense Index Report was developed in partnership with the Office of Children Youth & Families and the Grand Rapids Police Department. It includes an analysis of juvenile offenses in the City of Grand Rapids in 2006 along with individual neighborhood profiles and juvenile offense maps for each of the 32 recognized neighborhood association areas in the city.
